    Welcome to 20/21 Academic Year

Welcome to the new school year 2020/21 which will start on Saturday 12th September 2020. We are now gearing up the preparation for the new term after the Scottish schools are now back following the Scottish Government’s advice.

We are planning to return to the classroom teaching for the next term. However, Edinburgh Council has decided that we can’t use the school building at least until the October mid-term break. We have to continue the online teaching for all our classes until the October mid-term break. Once the school building is open for us again, we will start the classroom teaching. Please follow our website (accschool.org.uk) for any latest updates.

We would like to ask parents to register their children via our school website. The fee is unchanged from last year, and you can find the fee information and the payment method in our website’s fee section. There is a £10 discount of the fee if you are paying before 31/08/2020.

The list of dates for each term can be found on our school website

    New Term Update 21/04/20

We hope you stay safe and well during this difficult lockdown time due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This just reminds that our online classes will be resumed from this Saturday (25 April).  Again, parents are asked to accompany young children and cooperate with the teachers of each class to attend the web Chinese class at 9-11 am and Activity Class  2-3:20 pm each Saturday. We have also arranged 20th and 27th June for our online classes to ensure 60 hours and 30 hours per our school year are delivered for the Chinese language and Activity Class, respectively.
In addition, you are strongly advised to use this very useful web resource http://hwjyw.etiantian.com/list.html?id=901 to help your child revise and learn Chinese at another time of your choice. This is additional support to our school’s own online classes.
Thank you for your understanding, support and cooperation!

    Wuhan Appeal

Update: 20/02/2020: this appeal is now closed and we will not take any donation more.
In total, we have received 19 donations of total £840.00, and also various donations of protection materials.

The coronavirus outbreak in China has been resulting in nearly 3000 confirmed cases (by 27/01/2020). The number is increasing at a dramatic speed. The hospitals in Wuhan are currently suffering an emergency shortage of basic medical supplies such as N95 masks, goggles, and procedure gowns.
We are a group of Chinese in Edinburgh, and we have been devasted by the situation in Wuhan and other areas in China, and sincerely wish to support the hospitals and the citizens as much as we can.
The fund raised will be solely used to purchase specific medical suppliers from NHS suppliers in the UK and directly donate to the hospitals in Wuhan, China.
Any amount of donation would be much appreciated. Thank you very much for your support.

    (Donation URL is now closed)

Please note that 08/02 and 15/02 are the midterm holiday. The school management team will decide whether the lesson will be resumed on 22/02.
